Songs of Praise is BBC 1 Television's weekly religious programme, which has been running since 1961, making it the world's longest continuously running religious television programme. It features uplifting stories of faith with interviews and music from around different types of churches. It is on every Sunday at 2:15 p.m. and lasts half an hour.
On Sunday 13th September 2026, there will be a special programme to mark the 500th anniversary of Tyndale's New Testament, featuring the copy at St Paul's Cathedral. Watch it on television or later on iPlayer.
