The Congregational Union is having a special day at North Nibley in Gloucestershire on Saturday 5th September 2026 to mark the 500th anniversary of Tyndale's New Testament. The day will start and end at North Nibley Chapel, Barrs Lane, North Nibley, Gloucestershire, GL11 6DT. Having assembled for 10:30 a.m., there will be a five mile walk from Wotton under Edge to the Tyndale monument, finishing later at the Chapel. Some of the walk is on the Cotswold Way so part of it will be quite steep. Walkers are asked to bring their own lunch and plenty of drinks. Wear sensible clothing and footwear. The day will finish with a hot meal in the chapel at 5 p.m.
