William Tyndale came from Gloucestershire and started to translate his New Testament in Gloucestershire. To mark the five hundredth anniversary of his 1526 New Testament, the Gateway Theology Forum presents an evening entitled: "Tyndale's New Testament: Celebrating 500 years of the Bible in English".
This will be an illustrated talk by Neil Rees, Chairman of the Tyndale Society, followed by an opportunity to ask questions. It will cover the story of Tyndale, including his local connections and his impact on the English language and the Bibles that we read today.
The event will take place in person at Cirencester Baptist Church on 29th November from 7 to 9 p.m.For more details and to register for the event, please click on the link below.
