To mark the 500th anniversary of the publication of William Tyndale's New Testament, Tyndale Society member Mike Smith will be giving a talk called "Wycliffe, the Lollards, Tyndale and Me" at 6 p.m. on Sunday 5th July 2026 at the Lighthouse Centre in Twerton, Bath, BA2 1DQ.
This is next to the closed Full Moon pub and near St Michael and All Angels church.
Mike will talk about the history of the English Bible and his upcoming epic bike ride, tracing the travels of William Tyndale in Europe. The event will include refreshments. His cycle ride is to raise funds for The Bible Society and, if you wish to support him, you can do so at:
