On 19th March 2026, five members of the Tyndale Society had a meal and planning meeting in the Tudor restaurant of the White Hart pub in St Albans. This was followed by a talk at St Albans Abbey about Sir Thomas More by author Joanne Paul. Sir Thomas More had an intense theological opposition to William Tyndale, writing his "Dialogue" in 1529 that condemned Tyndale's English New Testament as heretical and full of errors. Tyndale countered this in "An Answer unto Sir Thomas More's Dialogue" in 1531, which defended his work. For a copy of Joanne's book click on the link below.
