The Times credo2

The Times newspaper of London has a weekly "Credo" column, where different religious thinkers publish essays on a timely topic. On Saturday 11th April 2026, the Credo column was entitled "Can we take Tyndale's influence for granted?". It was written by Revd Michael Coren, who is an Anglican priest and media commentator in Canada. The article is a very good summary of the story of Tyndale and his impact upon our language and he also argues that this had an impact on Puritan thought and politics.
