  • Museum of the Book, London
    UK flag

    This is a museum in London about the Bible. It tells the story of its translation and impact through artefacts, manuscripts, objects and copies of the Bible. It is run by a friend of the Tyndale Society and opens by appointment.

  • The British Library, London
    UK flag

    The library often has on display its almost complete copy of the 1526 New Testament and other Tyndale related items (but worth checking current display before visiting).

  • Amersham Museum

    In 2022, this museum hosted the Amersham Martyrs' Play that told the story of the Amersham Tudor Lollards.

    The museum is dedicated to showing a print workshop as it was in Tyndale's time.

  • William Tyndale Museum, Vilvoorde, Belgium

    A museum dedicated to the life and legacy of William Tyndale can be found at Vilvoorde in Belgium, near the site of his execution, with a memorial nearby. The museum is run by friends of the Tyndale Society and opens by appointment.

  • The International Museum of the Reformation, Switzerland

    This museum in Geneva retraces the history of the Reformation movement and its impact through the centuries to the present day with a strong emphasis on the part played by John Calvin. Through objects, books, manuscripts, paintings, engravings and audio-visual presentations it recounts the epic history of a movement that became one of the main families of Christianity. It frequently stages temporary exhibitions and guided visits in English can be arranged.

    The museum brings together various collections of Bibles, including that of Tyndale Society member John Hellstern.

  • Tennessee Bible Museum, USA

    Tennessee Bible Museum is at Pigeon Forge, TN in the USA. They hold a wide range of items connected to the history of the BIble, its translation and printing. They do educational guided tours most days and it is open 10am to 6pm every day except Sundays. You can find the museum at: 135 E Wears  Valley Rd, Suite 1, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863, USA.
