Relevant museums

  • The Plantin-Moretus Museum, Antwerp

The museum is dedicated to showing a print workshop as it was in Tyndale's time.

  • The International Museum of the Reformation

This museum in Geneva retraces the history of the Reformation movement and its impact through the centuries to the present day with a strong emphasis on the part played by John Calvin. Through objects, books, manuscripts, paintings, engravings and audio-visual presentations it recounts the epic history of a movement that became one of the main families of Christianity. It frequently stages temporary exhibitions and guided visits in English can be arranged.

  • The Dunham Bible Museum

The museum brings together various collections of Bibles, including that of Tyndale Society member John Hellstern.

  • The British Library, London

The library often has on display its almost complete copy of the 1526 New Testament and other Tyndale related items (but worth checking current display before visiting).

  • Amersham Museum

In 2022, this museum hosted the Amersham Martyrs' Play that told the story of the Amersham Tudor Lollards.
